We are very pleased to invite you to a presentation by Javier Sanjinés, UM Professor of Spanish. He will discuss the upcoming second Spanish edition of Mestizaje Upside-Down: Aesthetic Politics in Modern Bolivia. In preparation, we will also read the introduction to his recent book Embers of the Past (2013), which he will connect to his talk.
